At just 17 years of age, Tom Williams is already a household name. From relative obscurity, he rose to stardom after wowing the judges during an impressive first audition of Australian Idol in 2008. From a field of more than 38,000, Tom then 16, made it into the top 100, and his dream came true when he was voted into the top 12 – one of the youngest contestants ever to do so!
Still at school, Tom juggles writing and recording his music and performing at gigs with his backup band, while hanging out with friends and studying. Drawing inspiration from past and present experiences, Tom's songs are supported with piano which he took lessons for over two years, drums with lessons over three years and guitar which he is self taught to “assist in the writing of songs process".
Tom will be playing every Sunday in the beer garden 2pm-6pm
